- Chances are that abcd.com is an MX (Mail eXchange) record instead of
- a A (Address) record. A MX record allows sites that are not directly
- attach to the Internet appear to be mail-able from the Net.

- For example, you can mail to postmaster@cwru.edu but you can't telnet
- to cwru.edu because cwru.edu is only a pointer to where mail should
- be sent.
